| Message | Hi, I never had an Einstein myself (infact I'd never heard of it until now). But I did have a speccy and started programming on that (Z80 is still the king). Now 20plus years later I'm sitting here doing matrix math with OpenGL, how I long for the good old days. Its seems that the Einstein256 specs should have made it into a massive hit at the time, maybe the price was a bit to much. I do love these retro sites, so keep up the good work chap and I hope you get hold of a speculator thingy soon. |

| Message | Fantastic site! What would really make the site Buzz is a library of disk images. I think that most of the titles are so old now that there would be no problem with copywrite. Additionally, there is much info about connecting Einsteins or 3.5 inch drives to PC's in order to make disk images for use with an Einy emulator such as MESS. Many people will never get to experience using Einy unless they use an emulator. I found the following site with a guide to emulation and 20-30 disk images to get people started: mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/Einstein_TC01/xindex.html About 20 years ago I managed to destroy the Konami 4 arcade disk with "kings valley" on it, my brother has never forgiven me to this day! So when the issue poped up again today I spent hours searching for an Einstein emulator and a image of the disk. Well I found the above page and within a short while was playing "snakes" on my PC under emulation. What would really make my day is if I could be sitting at the my PC nonchalantly playing "Kings valley" when my brother walks in! Any chance of an image of that disk? I have quite a bit of Einy stuff so I'm sure a deal could be struck! cheers Jez. |

| Message | Great site! Great computer! I spent ages with these things when I was a kid... I have two TC01's, one Einstein 256 and lots of software, manuals... I've just moved house so I'm going through it all right now... might sell / give away a lot of it! Not everything though  |
