Serial numbers for my TC01s are 6007688, 6025222 & 6030279, two of which are twin drive machines while the 3rd is in need of a lot of TLC. I know the PSU is faulty but even with a good PSU there is no display.
 I've also swapped the MOS chip for another but that made no difference either. Some of the keys are sticking while others don't make contact. Whether my de-soldering is up to scratch is another matter. I'll try that out on a faulty Oric Atmos first.
I have a 720k disk drive and using System 5 I've formatted and then saved programs to a double sided 3.5" disk. This works well. I did the same for a 5.5 floppy drive but when I checked the floppies last week, none seemed to be working.
I'm using an ATX PSU to power these drives through the external port but would really like to be able to transfer the software I have to DSK format and DSK files on Mario's site to 3" or 3.5" disks.
