Tatung Einstein TC01 Computer with Colour Monitor. Listed for sale as non working.

The computer powers on and loads to the screen you can see in the picture but that’s it. I can’t get it to do anything else. The keyboard feels spongy and the P key can get stuck down although it pops back up eventually. Disc drive appears clean and will take disks but doesn’t load or do anything other than the screen as per the picture.

The monitor is in good working order. Contrast and colour dials work well. It shows a good clean image so I’m happy to say the monitor is working.

Comes complete with all the leads you need. Also it is boxed in original box. Photos show the box - bottom flap is opened to get the inner poly box out ( top with the plastic carry handle hasn’t been opened).

This is a mega heavy piece of kit so collection is definitely preferred. I could deliver within 50 mile radius of Woking Surrey for £10 and within a 100 mile radius of Woking for £20 (excluding central London). If by courier then would need to be two separate parcels and is going to be expensive, I’d say maybe £20- 30. I can get some definite figures and confirm.

I’m sure this can be brought back to life by someone who knows what they are doing. It’s also a fantastically interesting machine which deserves a new lease of life - hopefully someone can invest in it and sort it out.
